After 22 years in the teaching profession, I have decided to move on to new beginnings.I so love my profession and I wouldnt hesitate to do it all over again in other lifetime. However, I feel its time for me to move on. During those years I have met and taught many wonderful persons. My life has been impacted by many of these past students whom I had taught throughout those years. I wish I could mentioned all their names, but the list would be endless. I have kept in touch with quite a few of them throughout the years and Im proud to say that they have certainly done well for themselves. The rewards from teaching comes way after, when these same past students meet you and tell that in someway you have made a difference in their lives. That is a blessing and more than a reward. It gives you a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction. I have had good and bad experiences throughout those years, but all those moments will forever be etched in my memory. I will certainly miss being in the classroom and interacting with these young people....they are my secret to feeling young and keeping young :-).....they are my inspiration and my strength. However, I must say thanks to all my past and present staff members who have guided and helped me during my stay at OWTHS. I will certainly miss working beside some of you....especially my ladies Candy & Emma Alvarez :-(. Furthermore, I will miss organizing and preparing for the school rally and the Festival of Arts....these two groups were and will always be my babies. So to all my past and recent students my best goes to you always and thanks for making me part of your lives and education(even to those ones who didnt like me)....love you all regardless. Thanks to OWTHS for making me part of the family for so long. This is not a goodbye, but rather a see you later. :-)
