After I had a good look at our new baby boy it became clear he is more likely 2-3 days old which is great. He has done lots of wee and 2 poos and they are not meconium poo ( babies first poo ) which their tummy is usually stimulated to pass by mummas colostrum. So he has already passed his and is now doing normal milk poo which means he has had colostrum ( which for him and me is like winning the lotto ) His hooves are also quite scuffed, the protective rubber coating the hooves have on them at birth is completely worn away and there is dirt embedded in his tiny hooves so he has been up and about for a little while. He is quite a big lamb and can already run, although it is still a fairly slow and clumsy run :) He has had 2 good drinks of 150mls of milk and only took a few minutes to start to suckle, this is when he got it :)
