After Maidan the new Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk called his Cabinet “the kamikaze government.” However, the real kamikaze government will be the new Cabinet which is about to be approved by the Ukrainian Parliament. Because this Cabinet will have to carry out the reforms aimed to change our post-Soviet economy. This Cabinet will have to fight corruption and shady schemes which still determine the relations between the individual and society. This Cabinet will have to decide the fate of the ‘oligarchs’ who still maintain a huge influence on the Ukrainian economy and finance political projects. This Cabinet will have to step away from populism, which still remains the main direction of thought on part of Ukraine’s political elite – meanwhile the new Parliament is still full of populists and imitators, who were joined by a new generation of Ukrainian politicians, a generation which learned to speak much better and completely forgot how to do anything.
