After a fulfilling 6 1/2 years, I have resigned from my career as an animal shelter employee. It is bittersweet since I started there when I was dating this cute guy, Erik, and it was just me and my best buddy, Cash living with my parents. I will continue to help dogs and their owners, but now am able to be a full time mom doing so. I am sad, but relieved. What is truly important to me can now be my lifestyle and I am grateful for such a supportive husband and family for encouraging me take such a huge leap. Yea me!
