After a hellish/sleepless overnight train ride in the sleeper car from Venice to Munich, Jennie Romano and I rented a car and drove along the Romanic road and the German Alpine Road to the Bavarian/Austrian Alps. Along the way we visited the famous fairy tale castle Neuschwanstein Castle, one of crazy King Ludwigs many castles, where we hiked to some ridiculous altitude above the castle. Despite nearly falling to my death a few times (only in my mind), I reunited with Jen at the top (she snuck off to do an even steeper trail). The views were amazing - especially of the castle which Disney based their Cinderella Castle on. All of it - just unreal. Im in awe again, today. Posting multiple castle photos for perspective.
