After a horrible beginning, my day ended up being very productive. I was awaken by a pack of dogs running "something" through the woods. I have never heard anything like it. All you could hear was those dogs and that poor creature. It sounded like a sound some type of wild cat would make although it was very large. The fight went on forever. I was outside when I saw the dogs and "it" come out of the woods into the field. These were not hunting dogs they were just a pack of dogs allowed to run free until now they are wild creatures. The animal they brought down was a very large doe that I saw often crossing the field.I have never seen such and I hope I never hear that sound again. Hunters you had better be careful. Think twice about letting your kids go hunting alone....would they know what to do if confronted by a pack of dogs vicious enough to take down a deer?I have seen one of these every morning in my yard and it travels the road. Together they are dangerous. I have seen this pack several times in the back of the field and I have heard them quite often. Makes you think.
