After a lot of thought, Ive decided that Callie & I will be doing something different for Christmas this year. We will be going to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville (& possibly Shands in Gainesville) to hand out little Christmas bags to lung transplant patients. As my family has learned, something as simple as a dancing Santa in the corner of the room is enough to brighten their day... and, thanks to Dollar Tree, I was able to clear out their solar dancers before they even became available on the shelves. :) I am also doing a fundraiser so I am able to give each patient a bracelet. For every bracelet bought at $3, two patients will receive a bracelet. So, lets go #TeamAndy!
