After a stormy Wednesday, a much cooler, drier air mass has started to make its way into the Wiregrass. This setup is very abnormal for the month of May, but well take it for sure. Highs this afternoon have been well below average as the clouds stuck around for most of the morning and early afternoon. We will see a clearing sky for the rest of the afternoon and tonight as the strong NW winds bring in the cooler air. Expect lows to drop to near 50, with a few spots getting to the upper 40s. The wind will keep things from getting too cold tomorrow morning. For Friday, an awesome day is ahead with lots of sunshine, low humidity and well below average highs. Afternoon temps will rise to the upper 70s with a stiff NW breeze. Friday night the wind starts to calm down a bit, and lows will be milder, but still cooler than average, dropping to the mid 50s. As we start the weekend, more sunshine dominates with temps warming, but only into the low 80s. The rest of the weekend and start of next work week look good, with warming temperatures as high pressure builds in, and sunshine warms us up. Expect highs in the mid 80s Sunday, with slightly warmer temps by Monday and Tuesday. Enjoy the cooler weather everyone!!
