After a wonderful morning with one of my out of state brides, my mom discovered (while babysitting Reese) that one of her closest friends was murdered by her husband, then he shot himself when police arrived. Apparently it was all over the news yesterday. Weve lost people in our family to domestic violence in the past, and this is another serious and horrifying blow. Sharon Wilkins was one of the most giving, kind and loving people Ive ever known. Sharons 14 year old daughter was at school when this happened and now has no living parents. I just dont understand. Please send loving and (emotionally) healing prayers of peace to her daughter, family and my mom Cumby. At least Sharon cant be hurt any longer. Shes at peace in heaven. Something to take the sting away. This just feels so surreal.
