After all of the dust settles no matter what side of this you stand on.... A life was lost, a mother lost her son, and 2 families were heartbroken for the months this trial has gone on and forever moving forward they will never be the same. Some day, when things in this world are worse than they are now and we are dependent upon our families, friends and neighbors for the things that our government no longer provides will we not accept help nor offer help in dire straights because of the color of our skin. We would all do well to remember blood is red. Not black or white. Beneath the color of our skin we are all created the same. There is good and bad in every single race in our world. How sad to me that the color of skin determines how good or bad we are treated by fellow man. Think tonight when you lay down your head no matter the color of your skin how heartbroken you would be if you were to wake in the morning and your child no longer be on this earth. Think how sad you would feel if your dad was in jail accused of murder and not with you. Seems to me there is not much difference in either case. Very sad.
