After all that people of colour have experienced, endured and fought against in the last 500 years, do you think its considered creative art to show African people bound and chained and in cages? At a public institution such as a The Barbican? If you are my friend which is why you why you would be on my friend list I implore you to sign this petition and share it with your friends and ask them to sign. Images are extremely powerful. If you have people of colour as friends then I would hope you understand our struggle. Its not just in our minds and we do have a chip on our shoulder for very good reason. IT IS A SINISTER CONSPIRACY to depict african people as the lowest of the human species when actually we are extremely intelligent and sensitive. I would like this post to be liked and shared by all those who care, liked and shared just as much a photo I might put on here of myself or my friends.
