After allegations of interference with the UN Secretary General’s report, French Ambassador Araud is this afternoon giving a press conference on human rights! Each year France has supported Morocco in blocking proposals for MINURSO to monitor human rights. Araud recently threatened to sue Javier Bardem for quoting him as saying Morocco is France’s “mistress”. He is likely to be questioned about Western Sahara at the conference, before it starts tell him not to stand in the way of human rights !
