After being a 24 fan for yeas and watching each season numerous times I BELIEVE...24 wasnt going to continue after season 4 when they faked jacks death and made him run into the sun set with a new identity with everyone thinking he was dead he couldnt no longer be a government agent. But the writers managed to sort that and bring him back for 4 more seasons and a tv film.. At end of season 5 he gets kidnapped to go to china and go under trial for what he did at the Chinese consulate in season 4 and he comes back in season 6 So if we think at the end of season 8 he becomes a fugitive and can be extradited to Russia for killing Russian diplomats and that was the end of 24.... Then it returns for season 9 more or less making him an agent again after being a fugitive. 24 is so addictive but the writers are very clever and have put a pattern in there... Season 4 + 8 are so similar youve probably missed this Season 5 + 9 are so similar also Season 4 he commits crimes under other countries laws and fakes death and survives...season 8 he runs away and becomes a fugitive Season 5 he comes back and saves the day then has to answer from crimes committed against China in season 4, season 9 he comes back saves the day and has to answer for crimes committed against Russia in season 8 I believe if this pattern is here we might be hopeful of more seasons? Anyone else see my pattern?
