After being persuaded by my brother and In memory of our Dad, I am attempting to raise money for the Salvation Army and for MacMillan cancer support, which are 2 very worthwhile charities close to our hearts. For the past year I have been training very hard which comes to a head this sunday 27 July, when I compete in the Outlaw Ironman Triathlon in Nottingham. the distances for this event are 2.4 mile open water swim, 112 mile cycle followed by a full marathon (26.2 mile) run. yes i am totally insane !!!
