After being so mad and so sad and overwhelmed by what lay ahead for me to cope with next... and worrying about how to get all of Daddys information... I laid down and took a nap this afternoon and when I woke up, I was almost running to get to the office. I had a bag of old papers Id moved with me from Henryetta that had been in my Daddys safety deposit box and Im completely forgotten about them. Until I dreamed... Until Daddy whispered in my ear while I was asleep to go look... I found his discharge papers. His social security number. His birth certificate. Income tax papers that had his and mothers name listed as married. I just sat down and cried. There are no words.
