After busking yesterday I went to the Guy Sebastian album launch, in Kings Cross, to watch my friend play drums in his band. He played really well, he wore a basketball jersey. I ordered a beer at the bar, a Peroni, and the bartender said its complimentary. I didnt really like the music very much but Guy Sebastian seemed like a nice person. I think Sophie Monk was the announcer. The crowd was super weird though and seemed to be paying more attention to how everyone else was looking and werent really listening very well to the music that was playing. Lots of talking loud. Except for that Battlescars song. Everyone took their phones out for that one. To be honest it, the evening put me into a bit of strange headspace. I left straight after the last song and didnt get a change to say bye to my friend so I texted him. I told him I thought he played well and that I loved him and thanks for the ticket and the free beer. He texted me back a little drawing of a rabbit. I gave the $100 dollars I made from busking that day to a guy I saw playing guitar on the street. He was playing Its all over now, baby blue It got my head straight. Ras Mateo.
