After going to mass in what seems like forever time I know Im far from a biblical scholar, but one thing about Ash Wednesday really seemed to humble me. When the priest drew the cross on my forehead he said; remember thou art dust and to dust you shall return. It seems kind of depressing at first, but as I thought about it. I came to the conclusion its not depressing at all. We live a short time on this earth, and everyone and everything here is equal in gods eyes. We are all dust and when the time comes we return to dust. Atleast thats what I got from it.
