After having a positive informal rehearsal (more like a meetup?) today, I would like to announce this. Dear friends, I am curating and performing an improvisation concert for AIMToronto next week: Tuesday August 19, 8pm @ Musideum - A World of Musical Instruments. Play Things May Chook - voice Paul Newman - sax Rosano Coutinho - piano Curators note: This concert is about having a good time, with the musicians and the audience. It is also about various things in life - there are so many of them - I hope to present at least some this evening. Musicians will bring in some items as themes for various pieces, and the audience is encouraged to participate by bringing in some items as well. $10/PWYC What the heck is free improvisation? Come and figure it out!
