After having been privileged to walk shoulder to shoulder with the people of Derry, and to have lay down on Shipquay Street with you all at the Support for Gaza rallies, I am gutted that due to pre-arranged commitments I am unable to travel with you to Dublin for the Support for Gaza national rally. To all who represent Derry on Saturday in Dublin, to all who walk, I wish you the gathering power and irresistible energy of humanity - the kind of humanity that comes when murderous intent, injustice and malevolence are challenged - when state murder, infanticide and the snake-oiled wheels of slick propaganda and lies are faced down – I hope the voices of the world cries against the atrocity in Palestine sound out and gather together across the globe to send a message to the war criminals and their shadow-backers – we will not be silent when innocence is murdered, when children are bombed in their sleep, and when sneering monsters blatantly deny human rights to our brothers and sisters. .
