After listening to the stunning sound track of Danny MacAskill in The Ridge many times, I came home on Friday to a surprise present from my wife. The album it came from Grit by Martyn Bennett has excited and shocked me all weekend. Im obviously very late to be hearing this for the first time and dont know how I could have not heard it before. An incredible mix of traditional folk, classical and techno music. Not often I put on a CD and have to listen to it from start to finish continually all weekend. What a shame that his amazing talent was stolen away so young.
