After lots of trial and error Im back to relying on my local Adyar - TopicsExpress

After lots of trial and error Im back to relying on my local Adyar Call Taxi (and sometimes Fast Track) for cabs. My experience has been that the fancy operators with lots of funding and technology (Meru, Ola etc) have a much much higher failure rate than the smaller local guys who are not relying so much on technology so will therefore not cut things too fine. Of course theres no such thing as a 100% reliable taxi vendor but in over 7 years of using Adyar call Taxi theyve only ever messed up once, and in the few months of using Meru and Ola theyve let me down several times (Meru of course has done this to me in Bangalore and Delhi as well, so its clearly a well established national model). Ola used to be reliable but in the past couple of months has really deteriorated. I guess when you focus on maximising the utilisation of the fleet over reliability (and try to manage despatch from another city), this is bound to happen.
