After many hours, exams and a thorough sonogram at the Animal - TopicsExpress

After many hours, exams and a thorough sonogram at the Animal Medical Center, we are finally home. The sonogram was normal. So they gave her an anti-nausea medication, pain meds, sub-q fluids and sent her home with more pain meds. If she vomits more than once this weekend, she is to return for further testing..... And she is not to eat until tomorrow morning - a logistical nightmare in this apartment with two other cats and Isabella all clamoring for food! The best news is that it is not severe pancreatitis (might be mild case) nor FIP which would be lethal. She remains alert and hungry....difficult but encouraging. Also, as usual, she was a TREMENDOUS hit In the waiting room, examining rooms and treatment rooms. One nurse apparently saw her being carried into the sonogram room and said - Oh, how beautiful....must be one of the Wallach cats! I ESPECIALLY love how much they are loved and admired because they are all rescues, and Im eager for people to adopt such cats and give them a second chance to shine!
