After months of calling Xaviers doctors office referrals department a few days a week I finally got an answer.. As of Friday his insurance denied the referral to the audiologist. I am beyond livid, it took 4 months of waiting to just say sorry we wont cover it!? Now his doctors office is collecting all his records and his evaluation results from the regional center to send them to California children services to see if they will pay for it, if they deny it then the insurance company said that they will approve it. Its so ridiculous that my child has fluid behind his ear and thickening of his ear canal and hearing loss but he cant get help for any of it until these people decide. Prepare to meet the wrath of this mom because I will be on the phone all day calling whoever I need to, to complain about this crappy denial! I would love to know why his refer was denied, I want answer damn it!
