After much debate, Ive decided to make a slight change to our club logo. This is to ensure that our identity stays unique to us. It still serves as a reminder of where my system and style has originated from (Goshin Ryu Karate and Zenyogkido Kung Fu). The 8 Trigrams (solid and broken lines) date back over 5000 years and represent opposites such as positive and negative, light or dark. This was later developed into the traditional Yin (broken line, dark colour) and Yang (solid line, white colour) symbol that sits at the centre of our logo. Both sides existing with each other. So from the true teachings of Yin and Yang, from an initial negative (frustrations and disappointment) has come a real positive (strength and determination).
