After reading and contributing to blogs, forums, and pages for some time now, I have come to realize that either a fair amount of people lack any reading comprehension skills or are just too lazy to take a moment to honestly read and understand what someone has written. Also, there are more than a few people who are so interested in pushing their agenda or ideology, they pretty much ignore what others have stated or have totally misconstrued what they have said. This type of laziness, lack of comprehension, intellectual dishonesty, or trolling is utterly fruitless and just damn annoying. Now, we here at the URC truly enjoy healthy and intelligent discussion and debate, but please, take the time to truly understand what people are trying to convey in their posts and comments, and if you are not sure, please just ask what they are trying to convey. What we will not continually accept on this page is blatant trolling, contentious and divisive nonsense, the constant use of logical fallacies (to try to win an argument), and folks who offer knee jerk replies to comments without ever taking the time to understand what other commenters are trying to convey. Now, unless you are offering personal attacks (and do not stop after being warned) or consistently trolling (and offering nothing more than hype, logical fallacies, and/or contentious and divisive comments), we do not believe in blocking people or deleting comments. With that said, please, try your best to truly understand someones comment or post before replying, and if it becomes pretty obvious that you are not taking a moment to understand what people are trying to convey, youre blatantly ignoring what they are conveying before replying to a post or comment, or youre constantly relying on fallacious arguments, dont be surprised if we call you out or start ignoring your comments. ~Andrew
