After reading the posts from the 3 judge candidates or their friends I find myself shaking my head. I have never taken a position for one of the candidates over the other 2. I have written that I worked with Lee Dryer at a helping hands event and found him to be very forthcoming . That event did not win over my vote but it did give me an good first impression of the man. What is causing me to shake my head is the obvious opposition to Lee Dryers candidacy. Again, there were requests asking for votes for all the candidates but only the Lee Dryer post received angry , snarky comments. By the way Ben Hendrix your English education should make clear when a person is referred by name and subsequently referenced by the use of the pronoun he, the writer is referring to the same individual. I am certainly glad this election is over. I understand good passionate discussion is always welcome but some of the posts I read do not rise to the level of sound discourse. Now that the election is over we need to move forward on the Trails of Brownlyn development. Obviously, the new codes director was incorrect in his writing that the pud is in effect in perpetuity. It is time to ring up the commissioners , the city manager and the codes director to let them know we expect a full open and honest debate on this development.
