After searching and help of a friend i find out what happen to my kinfolk Mason Mayo A motorcyclist was killed Thursday, Aug. 21 around 12:20 p.m. after he reportedly collided with an SUV in the Atascocita Forest area. Harris County Sheriff’s deputies received a call of a collision involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Will Clayton Prkwy and Silver Bend Drive, said Patrol Sgt. M.F. Coker. When deputies arrived they found the rider, described as a man in his 20s, had been ejected from his motorcycle. By early Thursday afternoon, investigators could be seen examining the scene to find out details of the collision. A heavily-damaged blue sport motorcycle was seen lying on its left side on Will Clayton. The second vehicle, a white, four-door, Nissan Armada was parked on Silver Bend. The Nissan’s passenger side also sustained heavy damage. The motorcycle was reportedly traveling east on Will Clayton, said Accident Investigator D.S. Wilkie. Preliminary information suggests the SUV was traveling westbound on Will Clayton Pkwy. before the driver made a southbound turn onto Silver Bend when the collision occurred. Further specifics of the collision — such as how fast each vehicle was traveling — were not immediately available. Names of the drivers involved also were not immediately released. The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, sheriff’s deputies said at the scene. The driver of the SUV, a woman who appeared to be in her 20s was not injured, Coker said. “She’s not injured. She’s very upset,” Coker said. “There was at least two witnesses but they’ve already been interviewed and released.” That intersection is generally quiet, he said. “We don’t have a lot of accidents here,” Coker explained. “We have more at Will Clayton and Atascocita.”
