After seeing pictures of our fallen soldiers over the past few days...these men & women are so young. Like babies even. May be a dumb question and I may get scorned for asking but how old exactly do you have to be or can you be to join the military? My outlook as a mother is, I would AT LEAST want my child to finish HS and explore life a little before making such a huge decision so young as to become a soldier. Its such a high honor anyway in itself but dang it...just seems they get younger and younger. Ill support my children in what they WANT to do all day long but it just better be THEIR choice to make after 18. Just saying my opinion... as I always do :)
