After seeing so many friends share a sentiment of moving out of Bedford because a levy/ millage didnt pass I find myself in a questioning state. If you truly want something, you cant be very upset you didnt get it if you didnt put the work in to attain it. Granted, it is upsetting how so many summarily place a No vote when it comes to tax increases but perhaps those that work the budgets and set up the proposals should get together and send a clear message. A message of what needs to be fixed, why it needs to be fixed, and exactly where the funds are going. Although I voted for the fund, I can certainly understand voter frustration when it comes to writing blank checks. I will be at the school board meeting tomorrow to see what they have to say and investigate as to what I can do to help the students of this great.... not perfect... but great school system.
