After spending a wonderful weekend on the beaches at Brunswick, GA many, many years ago this post brings me to action. Why must the media always focus on sensationalism? Why do they only report stories looking for a knee jerk reaction? Why Gregory, why Lauer can you not just dig for dirt but find something to report that will instill moral values and teach lessons so desperately needed by parents today. You are both a very poor Tim Russert. Forget black on white, white on black, the time is now to come together for our future, and that is our children. Through your media access to the people you have the opportunity to show and teach moral values, fiscal responsibility, work ethic, and if you have the political courage, the faith in God that this nation was founded on. Sharpon and Jackson just stir the race pot, as do Aryan Nation, KKK, and other race haters. I want to believe that America can truly be that melting pot as envisioned by our founding fathers, a land of opportunity, where anyone can legally become a citizen and create a better life for them and theirs.
