After spending the last 40 weeks, 5 days in the hospital, Mitchel is set to be discharged tomorrow. We begin another leg of this journey that started in December. He will continue with outpatient therapies. He is truly a walking, talking miracle. It will be great to have him home and maybe be we can all settle into a routine even though it will be different than before. Although we cant begin to understand or answer why this had to happen we know in our hearts that we have been blessed.... he is alive and recovering far faster and better than many ever thought he would and this journey has brought some wonderful people into our lives that have become like family.
