After taking two highways on west and east sides of Manhattan - TopicsExpress

After taking two highways on west and east sides of Manhattan marching more than 10 miles, I am glad to see such energy in the people against injustice. I am also very saddened that we are still so behind in political consciousness. People were out for Mike Brown, but somehow forgot that there have been thousands if not millions of Mike Brown across the history of the United States in particular, and the history of Western imperialism in general. That in NYC tens of thousands of people were enraged that Darren Wilson was indicted, but not that were being killed every 28 hours. (among other aspects of national oppression of people in the US). Because when the liberal chunk of people are against chanting: Arms Up. Shoot Back in favor for Hands Up, Dont Shoot, we see that their political frustration is not the number of casualties in the (neo)colonial war waged against our communities, BUT the fact that the FREE (b̶o̶u̶r̶g̶e̶o̶i̶s̶ ̶) Democratic liberal (in)justice system of the United States is not working they way they have been ideologically trained to THINK it works. THEY Thought all we had to do is tweek this beast a bit. Well, unfortunately, they are behind. I also heard slogans along the lines of Make them know were all Equal. Again, this is not just frustrating, but actually makes me feel sadness. The fact of thematter is, that 50 years ago, Civil Rights gave us that liberal bourgeois democratic rights. Weve had Post-Apartheid Amerikkka since 1964. Yet, along the lines of post-apartheid South Africa, did this not change the fundamental contradictions of society, but opened up the political space for new non-white ruling classes. BUT really not being indicted has conversely sparked real contradiction in the fabric of US society. They didnt even pretend to serve justice by indicting and then not convicting him; like George Zimmerman. No, Zimmerman was just the auxiliary force of white power imperialism- Darren Wilson is the grunt of white power imperialism. What happened with Darren Wilson however is literally the heteropatriarchal White-Power Imperialist ruling class saying HAHA, were not only oppressive but were sure youre retaliation wont even be close to significant. And I want people to understand, its not that I am antagonistic towards these liberals, in fact, many of this liberals today could very well be the revolutionaries of tomorrow. But It only shows 1) how thoroughly weve been colonized, 2) how our Revolutionary Liberation movements have been not only crushed, but even severed in generational. scales so that it ensures the rule of colonialism without colonizers. and 3) the immense polemical work on the ideological front as well as on the ground organizing it will take to shift these sections of people leftwards. While a lot of people see these debates during the march as infighting actually, I see is as the necessary growing pains of struggling with the people for their liberation. Unity yes, But Unity that is worth struggling for. Unity that MUST be struggled for. On the other hand, I have to say, NYC November 25th 2014 Was one of the largest non-permitted marches Ive ever took part in. And the was a clear message that the masses are fed up. BUT even more so, there was also large sections of the people who were certainly down for the more militant chants Shout out to all the Comrades and people in arms for Ferguson. #RSCC #SJP #BSU #PSL #BANE #DREAMTEAM #PPA #FergusonNYC #ArmsUpShootBack
