After talking to my mate (no names) hes a single parent, but had always worked before she left, he is now a stay at home dad, hes ready to go back to work and has been looking for work, hes now been offered work yet after doing a better off in work calculation he is worse off finantialy in work than on benefits. Now my question is this...... Are wages too low and we should raise minimum wage? or are benefits to high???? becasue surly it cant be right that a working man is better off at home instead of in a full time job???
