After this first week of school, I was assigned a project for my newly inducted middle school son. The project instructed to describe my son in A Million Words Or Less. I thought Id share mine with everyone. So hard to believe my baby is in middle school. It seems like yesterday he was bundled up in that tight hospital swaddle that I could never seem to replicate. The words just came to me, and I wanted to share. ----------------------------------------------- Hi there: I wanted to follow the standard directions to describe my son in a million words or less. Because every mother thinks her kid Is better than the rest My Ryan - he is special In so many different ways; Youll see that sparkle in his eyes That glow like sunshines rays How could I justly describe him? My oldest baby boy; The lifeline in his laughter Who brings me so much joy And what of his bright mind? Thats genuinely so smart; I knew hed be successful Right from the very start And that warm and special heart That opens wide with love; His small and perfect hands That fit mine like a glove How does one put in words His smile thats OH so sweet; That opens up to anyone And everyone that we meet He makes me very proud In every little way; He pleasantly reminds me Somehow each and every day So words - they cant describe The boy for me that God has picked; My love for him within my soul This boy is Ryan Resnick
