After viewing some paintings earlier tonight, I am struck by how folks interpret things. If all of us were given the task of, shall we say, painting the sun...some of us would draw a blue background and paint a yellow sun shining down bright...others might see a cloud floating across it...still others would see a sunrise or a sunset. Im in awe of those that paint, and yet I see the same thing in those of us who love to take pictures. If we were all given the same subject...we would catch it at different phases...one will capture the perfect posed portrait, while another will focus on the side pictures, a laugh or a quiet moment of reflection (much like we live life, right?) One day out of life might be vibrant and full of sunshine, while on that same day for others, may be their darkest moment. Musicians can be given the same piece of music...and if played with their heart, that piece of music will sound different with each change of the person playing it. We all interpret life differently...and after all, isnt that what makes each of us unique? It would be a terribly boring life indeed if we all thought alike or interpreted a scene the same way.
