After viewing this amazing tribute to this fine young man, The one thing that pops into my mind was a poem titled The Dash by Linda Ellis. If you have never read it, I encourage you to do so. You see, the dash is the symbol between your date of birth and your death. It represents the time you spent here, on earth and what you did with that time. Well people, Walkers dash leaves no doubt!! When the Lord called him home, Walker was rewarded in great measure for his Dash. We should all work to having our Dash be interperted like his. I did not know Walker personally only met on a few occasions through his dad David Wilbanks who was a former teammate and still a good friend, however having looked at all the comments and testimonies over the last few weeks about this young man, I need not to have known him personally to realize what a great young man of character and morals he was. Through others i learned of that because of his Dash.
