After waiting 2 week for my new cam to show up and then the great work from Robo at DSR Engines on the cylinder head I finished installing the motor motor today only for the drive dowel on the cam sprocket to fail. Result all exhaust and one inlet valve bent. One exhaust valve was totally snapped off. Ive been using this sprocket for about a year now without problem. Obviously the new cam was too much for it. Damage to all 6 pistons as well. It only ran for about 10sec before it broke. My entry is in for rd6 in 2 weeks time but at this rate I may have to pull out! More late nights ahead.
