After watching a news cast debating the current issue of national security, President Obama, and the alleged failures of the Intel community (concerning the threat of radical Islam), I decide to offer my two cents on the subject. Here are the facts as we know them. People are killing American citizens using Islam as their excuse. It doesnt matter if they were recruited by an official radicalized group or not, the fact is the current trend of Americans being seduced by Islam to kill in retribution for what they claim is an attack on the religion is happening. Next, the Presidents own C.I.A. director John Brennan stated that the threat of a caliphate in the Middle East was a delusion which marginalized every single soldier who has served in the Middle East, and KNEW better. (While at the same time secretly searching Senate Intelligence Committee files to see what they knew.) The Americans are the enemy attitude has been expressed within the administration since the first election of President Obama, and helped foster resentment towards us around the world. The policy decisions to retract from the problem of Islamic terrorism was deliberate, even though THE ADMINISTRATION KNEW it was real and created by previous U.S. actions taken within our own government, while supporting elements of these radicalized groups to combat Russia during their Afghan war in the 80s. Now, ignoring that fact by claiming that the threat of radical Islam expansion was a delusion, not only did it convince the entire left that there was no threat on the rise, but the remarks instantly labeled veterans as fear-mongers in the minds of every single Obama supporter, and conspiracy theorists around the world. That is why the majority of democrats and conspiracy buffs view the American military as the enemy, instead of the followers of Sharia Law. The fact is the current administration not only set the stage for the American people to be caught unaware by the problem of Islamic terrorists, it made American veterans appear as the enemy to the entire world, while allowing the terror leaders to regroup, reconsolidate, and reorganize their fighting forces unchallenged. In addition, military officers who KNEW better, and disagreed with the new anti-terror policy of head in the sand, were removed from their positions. Soldiers were even given retirement letters while still serving in combat zones, fighting the very enemy the administration was ignoring. This was during the same time the President was telling his constituents that an Islamic terrorists threat did not exists. Complete misdirection, and brainwashing of the left. It has also been reported that the President Obama only attended 42% of intelligence briefings concerning the threat of Islamic terrorism. Think about that fact. HE IS THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF, who made a command decision that attending briefings concerning the safety of his own citizens, was not as important as attending fund raisers, golf outings, parties, vacations, talk shows, and other non-essential security related functions. At the very least, his actions were a dereliction of duty NO MATTER the excuses given, because he is the Commander in Chief in charge of National Security. President Obama holds complete responsibility for the safety and security of the ENTIRE NATION, He claims his Intel officers underestimated the threat of ISIL, but HE KNEW their origin, their operating procedures, and fired senior military officials who disagreed with his ideology, and strategy of ignoring them to make them go away. To shift blame onto others who warned him constantly, while STILL downsizing the ONLY MILITARY in the world that will confront radical Islam is NOT the act of a competent leader at the very least. This isnt personal to me, its about his priorities, the security of the nation, its citizens, taking responsibility, correcting the record, and liberty across the globe.
