After working seven days a week for 62 days consecutively (yep, Sundays too) today I took a day off. Being Heather and my 6th year anniversary it was certainly a worthy occasion. We drove out to Marine on St. Croix and went for a very long, relaxing hike. Its back to work tomorrow, Sunday, but hopefully this is a sign that we are through the hardest part and life can start to be a little more normal. Im looking forward to rediscovering my hobbies and friends once again, Ive missed you! The only thing that keeps me going through marathon stretches of work like this are all the friends Ive made along the way. I couldnt and wouldnt do this to myself if it wasnt for you. You know who you are! You make it all worthwhile. I love what I do. I love the people, I love the Firkins staff, I love the craft beer industry and I love my amazingly patient wife.
