After yesterdays happy time with Holly, she took a huge turn for the worst in the early hours of this morning. She presented with colic that went from medium to extreme really quickly, and after 2 visits from the vet before lunchtime it was decided I should take her to Tewkesbury for emergency surgery. By the time we got there she was in shock and on the verge of toxic shock. Shes come through her surgery and is now in recovery, but they found that her guts have basically just stopped working, which is bad. Theyre going to be trying to kick start everything and see if they can get her functioning properly again, but it really is touch and go right now. Shes been through so much already. PLEASE all of mine and Hollys friends keep your fingers and toes crossed that she can overcome this as well :-(
