Afternoon all, Seems a relaxing weekend is about to become somewhat hectic. Today from 4pm through til 7pm at The Bald Faced Stag I will be gracing the floor (there is no stage!) with Lucy Desoto and The Handsome Devils for our once in a blue moon somewhat residency. Of course there will be the regular line up of Steve King, Mick Arnold, Pete Masi and of course the Boss Lucy Desoto who has again flown in specially (as she does) from the ALICE. As usual there will be an array of special guests to help us make the event a ripper! At precisely 7pm it will be time to down tools and take what I need to race over to Ruby Lotel where at around 7.30 ish I take the floor yet again with Matt Ross and Mark Evans, who will have already warmed the crowd with their infectious, acoustic swampy country blues and then we will unite as the 3 known as TRIPLE M for the electric version of the infectious said genre. Todays shows will be dedicated to my trusty Ludwig kit which has been an absolute workhorse and rockin swingin thing of love, as it could be the last outing for this kit. Hopefully next week (depending on Customs reliability) should see the arrival of my new drums courtesy of a new major sponsor who have asked me to be 1 of their 3 Oz endorsees. Stay tuned next week for the official announcement. Very excited and grateful!! The other tribute is to my mother Dorothy Oshea who unfortunately had a fall whilst visiting Jenny Colbert, Aaron and myself last week and has been laid up in hospital after having a very sudden hip replacement. Love you Mum .. youll be up dancing at one of the gigs soon!! See you lot this afternoon!!!
