Afteroon all! I hope everyones day is going great:) Im doing kinda crappy today... side effects of the new drug have returned (though nothing like before). And, my vision isnt getting better. A bit worrisome. Not sure if I mentioned this before, but my entire bank account was locked down because U.S. Bank somehow flagged activity as Identity Theft. No, I still havent gotten an answer as why. But, it means I have to drive the the physical bank to obtain cash. And that is a scary thing given Im running on about 40% vision (radio off, eyes focused purely on the road and no mental distractions). Turn my head too fast and I get vertigo from the eye problems. I havent risk driving all but twice in the past week... but, friends arent always around to drive me, and I have to personally be present to access my funds. Normally, I can just use my bank card or write a check, but those options are locked for at least another week. Man is this frustrating. And damage to my optic nerves from this disease might be irreverable. The verdict is still out as to what this med can do and if the optic nerve damage might heal. The drug will stop further damage, but its up in the air as to whether my body can repair the current damage. The idea of being fully or partially blind... Ill be honest. It scares the hell outta me. my neuro doubled the dosage of vitamin D-3 (evidently, this disease pretty much depleted my body of that vitamin, and its largely responsible for the bodys ability to heal) Fingers crossed on this one. Frankly, the neuroscience behind this disease is WAY over my head... that, plus its extremely rare and doctors didnt have the technology to and differentiate it from MS until recently. Hence, not a lot of data for me to look up. This one of those moments where I give up trying to figure things out and say God, I give up... this is all in your hands.
