Again this year, we are hosting another St. Baldricks Foundation event and Frilli for Lilli Sunday during Yonder Mountain String Band Sunday Show! Kinfolk member and aunt of Lilli Trippe, Peggy Skinner Davis, will be donating her hair and raising money for this amazing cause! Please help her raise money for this wonderful cause that fights childhood cancer! stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/660803/2014 A Note from Peggy: Sunday, July 20th 2014 marks the 4th Annual Frilli for Lilli. Lilli Trippe loved music, dancing, and @Yonder Mountain String Band, and for most of her short life, she fiercely battled childhood cancer. In 2011, she passed away, six days before her fourth birthday and just a few weeks before her induction into the Kinfolk Hall of Fame. On Sunday of @Northwest String Summit, during Yonder’s set break, I hope that you will cheer me on as I shave my head to remember this amazing child, to celebrate all she taught me about living, and to raise money for the @St. Baldrick’s Day Foundation. Being able to do this at Horning’s Hideout brings together everything I love: majestic firs, paddleboats, newts, amazing music, and my beautiful Kinfolk family. And, it’s the perfect place to honor Lilli, because she loved it here too. Thanks to@ Pastor Tim for shaving my hair, and to everyone that helps and allows this very special tradition to continue.
