Ah Christmas - This grandpa had a great time with his Grandson Madoc Nicklebee yesterday, but this morning after putting on my shoes,discovered a sticking sensation when walking around the house. Upon examination I discovered an extra sour cherry gummy enmeshed in all the nooks and crannies of my shoes rubber sole....after 15 minutes of scraping, prodding, and digging using very hot water and a steak knife, I believe most of the sour gummy is now safely down the drain in little pieces along with dirt and redwood duff - yes I walked around outside and tracked that into the house too! I think this grandpa learned a very important lesson as a senior and will take off his shoes from now on when visiting his grandson! lol.
