Ahh, the Google Glass PR team is probably cringing under a table today. If I were Google Id do a rethink/reposition of Glass. For vertical markets like surgeons or cops or customer service people? These will be cool. But for everyone else? They need major changes (and the team is working on them). It is the most controversial product of my lifetime, thats for sure. I dont think the PR is gonna get better until real utility shows up (and its starting to, just this week they made a lot of fixes to the photography features, at least if you have Android). For most of us wearable technology will consist of something on our wrists. At least for the rest of 2014. Next year? Well see. For me, Glass just doesnt have enough utility yet and this video properly and hilariously rips the product apart. I know Im wearing mine a LOT less often today than a year ago because of the lack of real utility over just a smartphone. Cant wait for the day when that is no longer true.
