Ahmed Magem KANO DEMONSTRATION: The recent demonstration in Kano over happenings in Egypt is nothing but sheer hypocrisy and arrant nonsense. There have been killings all over Northern Nigeria. Many people are using religion and ethnicity to enslave people. Poverty is eating people up everywhere. All these are not reasons enough to have a peaceful demonstrations against ills that endangers the lives of Nigerians especially Northerners many numbering over 10,000 that have been killed already. Destructions, sorrows, tears, blood and poverty everywhere. Yet all these are not reasons enough to demonstrate. We are now hearing of people demonstrating over the Egyptian/Morsi issue. How is that our business in Nigeria? Has there ever been any demonstration anywhere in the world over happenings and deaths in Nigeria? This is sheer hypocrisy. No sensible northerner should support such things. Why do we like drinking Panadol over another persons headache? Focus your strenght and time on how to end poverty in your communities and households. Think more of the plight of the North. #GetYourBrainBack!
