Ahoy! We are exited to announce that Camping World of St. George, UT has agreed to donate a BRAND NEW HOBIE WAVE to the Sand Hollow Yacht Club and Hobie Fleet 941. This will enable our club to push the Jr. Sailing Program to a new level in the coming year. The boat will be wrapped and sport the Camping World logo on the sail and on the hulls. We are very appreciative of this contribution. Please think of Camping World when buying an RV or camping equipment. They are the friendliest people with huge purchasing power and with the ability to pass on substantial savings and Class A service to their customers. This new boat will provide an opportunity to those kids who do not own a boat to be able to learn how to sail and gain seamanship and sailing and racing skills. We are at the end of the current season for sailing and we will announce the new curriculum for the Jr. Sailing Program early next year. It is not late though to get involved as we still have a few more activities before the cold sets in. Thanks to all that have supported the club in its efforts and for those who are not participating come and get involved we need you to volunteer and help for next year.
