Aiden has been sick for a week now throwing up and having accidents in his diaper and just not acting like hiself. After thinking about what could be wrong besides his teething I realized it must be the milk because we started him on whole milk and took the bottle away a week ago. After talking to the dr we realized that hes still lactose and tolerant and has to continue to be on soy milk instead of soy formula now. I feel so bad that I have been the one making him sick by giving him whole milk when I should have realized he needed soy when he was on soy formula for the first year of his life. Its a horrible feeling as a parent to know that ur baby is sick but to know uve been doing it feels even more aweful. He should start feeling better soon and hopefully one day will grow out if it. Until then he has to drink that nasty soy milk and is going to be missing out on important nutrients he needs from the whole milk. :-(
