Al-Ahqaf [46:10] Say: See ye? If (this teaching) be from Allah, and ye reject it, and a witness from among the Children of Israel testifies to its similarity (with earlier scriptures), and has believed while ye are arrogant, (how unjust ye are!) Truly, Allah guides not a people unjust. The pagans of Mecca resisted the Truth which was being revealed to Prophet Mohammed (saw). There were those among the Jews who had received previous revelations through prophets who testified to the truth of Al Quran. Yet these stiff necked ignorant people who never received revelation before nor a prophet chose to arrogantly reject Al Quran. The witnesses among Bani Israel testified Al Quran was exactly similar to that which they had received before which makes the pagans unjust to their own selves. Their arrogance was no more than a testament that they are indeed a people unjust and there is no way Allah will ever guide those who are unjust!
