Al7amdolilah attended yesterdays discussion that revolved around ISIS between Abu Baraa and AbdulRahmaan. Lots of things to mention but the main points i remember are: 1. The issue of the reality not matching the evidences which they both seemed to agree on was not discussed 2. Lots of time was used on defining things that scholars disagreed on before us and not enough time on talking about the Qat3i things and their application (E.g. conditions of the state) 3. Very unproductive for both sides to discuss the issue of Kuft akbar and kufr azgar for such a long time when focus should have been on the fact that the problem exists... how do we remove it in the right manner Many other points though Alhamdolilah the discussion was very detailed and informative. May Allah reward both and show them both the truth.
